She is a very good student and was a Senator in her high school student council. When asked what made her run for this office she replied, "A sense of adventure and a great challenge. I like being active and I feel this is one way I can be active and accomplish something for my peers as well as myself." Donna's plans are to try to get things done the way the students want them and attempt to get the students of L. C. more involved in S.G.A. "I hope everyone will get involved next year and any ideas would be greatly appreciated", says Donna. ELECTION REVIEW Kelly Takes 2nd Spot Deborah Kelley, a freshman here at Louisburg College, has won the office of Vice-President of the S. G. A. Although Deborah has not had a great deal of experience in student government she has a lot of ideas for improvement here at Louisburg College. Deborah says, "I will try to make sure the students of Louisburg College get equal chances in getting their ideas heard. I would like to try to get more entertainment for the student body. I will walk around and talk to students to learn their feelings about Louisburg College." Deborah feels that the students don't really understand what the S. G. A. is all about. Because of this they are not encouraged to get involved. She feels the S. G. A. needs to get more in touch with the student boc^ Overall, Deborah says "I would 111^ to know more of the students, learn their feelings toward the S. G. A., and encourage them to give their ideas to make the student body at Louisburg College as one, and make it the best year ever." x r This paper went to press 0 n March 19
